Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.""
Matthew 28: 18-20

Missions
Whether it be on the other side of the world in Papua, New Guinea or just outside the doors of the church, the people of Bethesda are committed to playing a role in the fulfillment of the Great Commission. Jesus commanded His church to take the Gospel message to all nations. For that reason, the Missions Committee at Bethesda has continued to encourage and support missionaries who not only help their fellow man through acts of charity and mercy, but who also seek to proclaim the Good News of salvation so that the people of the world might enter into a saving relationship with the One who loves them!
